Burlingame
Our headquarters are located in the city of Burlingame, about 10 miles south of San Francisco, California. With easy access to nearby highways and bridges, our personnel can travel to virtually any point in the greater San Francisco Bay Area within 45 minutes.
The geologic conditions in the Bay Area vary considerately. Soft compressive sedimentary deposits known locally as San Franciscan “Bay Mud” occur near current and historic shorelines and within the bay and its associated drainage-ways. Many of the valley areas are mantled with expansive soils and our hillsides are composed of countless bedrock types that vary in strength. Identification of the engineering properties of these materials is crucial, and our experience is a valuable tool.
Ideal, or easily developable sites are rare in the Bay Area, and most new project sites are located in “challenging” geologic areas where experience and innovation are crucial.
Our Burlingame office is located in the virtual center of the Bay Area. We would be pleased to provide you with a proposal for future challenging projects.
